The Pittman Center Loop

From Pittman Center, TN (between Gatlinburg and Cosby, TN) take TN hwy 416 north. at the stop sign at Highway 454, turn left and head back south on 454 to US 321. Very nice twisties. Hwy 416 is lightly traveled and has great tight twisties.

Nice back woods/mountain roads. Some grades. a couple small valleys but mostly wooded and hilly. Great in the fall with leaf colors.

Pavement is very good. curves are super-elevated, not flat. Yellow line in center, white lines on shoulders. Locals only (no tourists) so not heavily traveled. Very nice twisties. Hwy 416 is lightly traveled and has great tight twisties.

Shops in Pittman Center. Also Glades Rd has some nice restaurants. Gatlinburg is less than 7 miles from 454 intersection with tons of motels, restaurants etc.

For anyone visiting the Smokies and staying in Gatlinburg, this is a nice little scenic detour off Hwy 321. Connect it with the other route 339 and take it to Cosby. Jump on the Foot hills there.
