Spiral Highway to Heaven

North of Lewiston, Idaho going up and down the hill leading out of the Valley is a road called the "Old Spiral Highway".

This short but sweet ride has breathtaking views with a lookout point to boot. The route descends down towards The Clearwater River.

Just look at the map! The road is loaded with twists and turns and dramatic switchbacks. It is also freshly repaved - too good to be true.

The route itself doesn't have amenities however with it's position right next to the city you'll find gas and food and whatever else you may need.
