River Loop from Peru to Peoria

River Road from Peru to Peoria on the west side of Illinois River, cross over in Peoria and back to Peru along the east side of river. Friendly places in Peoria, and scenic route the whole way along both sides of river.

Can ride alongside the Illinois River for many miles, small towns, interesting biker bars in Peoria. From Peoria back north is through floodplains and hills along the river valley. Easy and nice cruiser ride.

No potholes. Gentle curves and hills. Wonderful ride. Do it every summer.

Interesting biker hangouts in Peoria west side of river. Nice hotels if you want to spend the night. I recommend Mark Twain hotel (biker friendly) and walking distance to everything downtown.

What a wonderful ride, overhanging trees, hills, old barns, the only Better ride is out along the Mississippi River.
