Sign up freeThe Appalachian Motorcycle Group and Burnside KY Tourism is proud to present our Third Annual Scouts Honor Memorial Honor Ride 2026 through McCreary, Wayne, Russell, and Pulaski Counties on Scouts Honor Trail KY — Kentucky’s Most Historic Lake Ride! Join us for an incredible 122-mile journey to Honor our Boy Scout and Military History as we ride from General Burnside Island State Park in Burnside, Kentucky around beautiful Lake Cumberland and experience the epic scenery, landmarks, and heritage that make this one of the most unique rides in the region. This unforgettable route honors Kentucky’s deep Boy Scout and military roots, with historic stops and points of interest including: The First Boy Scout Troop Marker in Burnside, KY Mill Springs Mill in Monticello, KY Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument and Park in Nancy Somerset Veterans Memorial Park in Somerset, KY Along the way, we will also stop at several incredible locations including Wolf Creek Dam in Jamestown, KY for lunch at Big Daddy's, The Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument and Park, and More! This is a ride absolutely packed with things to see, do, and experience as we come together Memorial Day Weekend to pay tribute to those who served, those who sacrificed, and the history that helped shape our region and our nation. Join us as we honor our Boy Scout and military heritage, show support for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and raise donations for a Backpacks 4 Veterans. A Non- Profit organization that helps homeless veterans get back on their feet again here in Central Appalachia. The AMG WILL RIDE FOR OUR HOMELESS VETERANS-JOIN US! ALL PROCEEDS GO TO BACKPACKS 4 VETERANS! Our group will deliver them in person along with 2 Backpacks stuffed with items needed from their list and a whole lot more!
